RISE UP Magazine is my creation that started my sophomore year of college when I took Introduction to Graphic Design. My professor told us to produce a magazine that took inspiration from publications we admired. RISE UP is inspired by New York Magazine’s online vertical, “The Cut”. 

RISE UP focuses on fashion trends, pop culture, and mental health. 

I have always used graphic design and photo editing as a creative outlet. From collaging, flipping through magazine spreads to creating spreads of my own; there is nothing more rewarding and satisfying to look at than a good magazine layout.
